Cougar, Hailey & Heidi

Cougar was fantastic! He slept through almost the entire thing. He was so patient with us as we move him around. Hailey and Heidi were my special helpers. They are such great big sisters! Tiffany's joy for life has certainly been passed on to her kids! So much fun!

New Favorite Website

So my friend posted this website on her blog, and after 5 minutes I was hooked. It's a cooking blog. Last night for dinner I made Smoked Turkey Brie and Apple Paninis they were awesome! I've got two weeks worth of menus from this site already planned out. I'm so excited to make them!

Trip to Tucson: My dad was in the hospital in Tucson and what started out as something serious mysteriously went away. He wasn't allowed to eat anything for 4 days so when they finally gave him the green light to eat "anything he wanted" he sent me straight to McDonalds for a Large #1 Bigmac Combo.
I felt like a criminal carrying such horrible food into a sick man's room at the hospital. But he's my dad, how can you say no to your dad when he's in the hospital?

I also read Dan Brown's the Lost Symbol. Honestly I was disappointed in this book. It was completely predictable. Normally he has me on the edge of my seat, but with this book I was trying not to fall asleep. In fact I didn't even finish the last three chapters because I just couldn't get motivated to sit through it.
Being a stay at home mom: BEST JOB EVER!!!! Every day is busy busy busy, but I love it. He always keeps me on my toes and I am constantly laughing as he discovers new things. Yesterday I got distracted editing some photos (very distracted). I suddenly realized that it had been extremely quiet for a long time. Here is the trail of destruction I followed to find the culprit.

What have I been up to?

Trip to Tucson: Taught me how much I value family and how quickly things can change.
Reading: Sometimes when everybody says it's an awesome book it isn't.
Being Mom: This is the BEST job in the whole wide world!!!
Cleaning: It never ends with a toddler around.
Taking pictures: I learn more and more with each picture!
AND...
Painting my room: It's been scary and a no turning back kind of thing...still not completed but I'm liking it more and more. The change is refreshing.

I love Spring!

I love spring!I love the colors you see everywhere and the feeling of warm sun on your face. Here are some of my favorite pictures I've taken of some of the cool things I've seen so far.



This last one is of a tree I passed almost everyday. I never really noticed it until the blooms came out. The blossoms looked like they were almost too heavy for the tree. Luckily I had my camera and grabbed a picture of it.
Spring is easily my favorite time of the year!

That's right, we're working on putting in a yard! I'm beyond excited! (And when I say "WE" I really mean Chris and his brother. I'm providing moral support, direction and cold water from inside with Boston.) :)

I'm done!!! I can't begin to tell you how ready I am for the summer. I really need a break and time to be with my family and just not think about school
I wanted to post a digital movie that I made with a couple girls from my class for our final in Science methods. We took a field trip to Capitol Reef and it was amazing!! The ranger there taught us so much! He also read us a letter from Chief Seattle to President George Washington regarding the sale of the Native American's land. We love it so much that we used that letter as the message in our video. It's a little over 4 minutes long, so you don't have to watch it, but we are pretty proud of the pictures we took and how it turned out so I thought I'd share it with you!! If you get a chance to go to Capitol Reef it's amazing and you should go!
