Quick Story

Oh Boy, I've got a lot of catching up to do, but I think I'll save that for another day. Today I just wanted to post about this little guy.
I can't believe how big he is getting! In a couple of weeks he will be 3. I still call him my baby though, and he always will be. He is talking so much, and is figuring out how far he can push it. He is the funniest, sweetest little boy, and I can't imagine my life without him! Yesterday we had a busy/dirty day. In the morning we pulled weeds in the yard and played with friends, then after Maddie's nap we went to the "cool park" in PG to play with more friends for a couple hours. Then we skipped nap time and Chris took Maddie and Boston on a little bike ride (video to come). At some point Boston had a yogurt and his hands got sticky and started collecting all the dirt from being outside/a 3 year old boy. So I told him to go in to the bathroom and wash his hands. This is something he does, usually under supervision, with the help of a little blue stool I keep in the bathroom so he can reach the sink and the toilet. So he says "O.K." and disappears into the bathroom next to the family room. You think you know where this is headed, but trust me, you don't. So he's in there for a couple of minutes and comes out, hands obviously wet, and shouts "I did it! I did it all by myself!" Well, Chris happened to be in the family room and thought to himself, I didn't hear the water run at all. So he said "Boston, can I see your hands?" Boston shows him his hands. "Boston, your hands are wet. Did you wash them in the sink?" "Nope" he says, smiling. "Where did you wash your hands?" our eyes got big as the realization of what our son was about to say sank in. "I wash my hands IN THE TOILET!!" Boston says excitedly. In the toilet. Makes sense right? Super easy access, and you don't even have to turn the water on. Oh dear. Like I said, I love my little boy.

Forever!!!
